Oyster Tasting in the Aveiro Beira Mar District
Tour Details
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at number 13, Largo da Praça do Peixe in the heart of the historic fishing district of Beira Mar, in front of the canals of the Aveiro estuary.
After getting comfortable on their terrace with views to start a gastronomic immersion completely dedicated to local seafood. During the session, we'll discover the intimate relationship between the city, its tides, and the estuary's ecosystem to learn how oyster breeding began as a delicate balance between ancient tradition and sustainability.
We'll learn the secrets of oyster farming, the different varieties, and their unique organoleptic characteristics. The oysters, shucked to order, will reveal the marine aroma of the Atlantic waters through a carefully curated guided tasting, accompanied by the foods and beverages of the selected theme.
After approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, we'll conclude the experience.
