Monument Valley Stargazing Tour
Tour Details
We'll meet at the indicated time at The View Hotel lobby, and from there we’ll head to the best spot for stargazing in Monument Valley. This tour is only available when the moon isn’t full, allowing us to take advantage of the lack of light pollution and enjoy the best possible views of the night sky.
Along the way, accompanied by an English-speaking Navajo guide, we’ll make 3 to 4 different stops ideal for stargazing.
As we approach spots like Forrest Gump Hill or Teardrop Arch, we'll quickly see how the stunning rock formations are lit up under brilliant starlight, thanks to the area's remote location, away from light pollution.
Along the way, our guide will show us how to use a telescope and give us some photography tips on how to capture the perfect night sky shot. And to top it all off, throughout our route, we'll enjoy an authentic Navajo music performance!
Then, after 2.5 hours, we'll return to the meeting point, bringing the tour to an end.
