San Sebastián Pintxos & Wine Tour
Tour Details
We’ll meet at 1 Ijentea Kalea, a key spot in San Sebastián’s Old Town, the perfect place to start our pintxos and wine tour. Are you coming with an appetite and ready to have a good time? Let’s get started!
Once everyone has arrived, we’ll set out on a tour through San Sebastián’s Old Town in search of the best cuisine Donostia has to offer. The tour, which will be in a small group of no more than 10 people, will let you enjoy an intimate culinary experience steeped in history and flavors that will delight your palate.
In total, we’ll stop at 5 restaurants. At each one, we’ll find different pintxos made with varied ingredients, yet all staying true to the essence of Basque tapas: seasonal produce, impeccable techniques, and a bar-side atmosphere that has transcended borders. Plus, as we move from bar to bar, we’ll pass through squares brimming with history, centuries-old churches, and narrow streets that will leave you falling in love with San Sebastián.
On this tour, we’ll sample 5 pintxos, paired with four wines from different designations of origin and a cider from the Basque Country, the perfect pairing to enhance the flavors and nuances of every bite. Plus, if you prefer, you can swap 1 wine for a traditional liqueur. It’s the best way to experience the tradition of San Sebastián!
2 hours later, with a delicious aftertaste, we’ll say our goodbyes and wrap up this tour filled with culinary artistry.
